The Warner Bros. Emerging Film Directors Workshop

There’s less than one week left before the deadline for applying for the Warner Brothers Emerging Film Directors Workshop. Get to it.

Current resume, your aspirations, a one-page proposal, and an optional digital sample of your work – that’s all you need to submit to be considered for the Emerging Film Directors Workshop hosted by Warner Brothers. As explained by Warner Brothers:

The WB Emerging Film Directors Workshop provides an opportunity for emerging filmmakers to gain an education and experience in the studio filmmaking process. Through the program, the Studio will also have the opportunity to continue its tradition of working with and nurturing the talents of the best emerging filmmakers.

Over the course of the program, each participant will have the resources and funding to direct their own original short film. The entire production process will be structured to mimic the feature production process, so that participants have the opportunity to craft their stories utilizing every aspect of studio filmmaking, from pitch to post.

Say what you will about the current state of studio movies, but if that doesn’t sound super freaking awesome, I dare you to tell me what does.

Deadline for submissions is June 30th at 11:59PM PDT. Time to hustle.
